In the construction of endoscopes with distal end complimentary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensors, Precision Optics Corporation (POC) has utilized our proprietary micro lens design and manufacturing capabilities to build camera assemblies using a variety of different CMOS sensors including the OmniVision OV6946 (1 x 1 mm, 160,000 pixels), OmniVision OV6930 (1.8 x 1.8mm, 160,000 pixels) and the Fujikura 29k (.74 x .79mm, 29,000 pixels). POC has the in-house ability to custom manufacture to your specific needs and specifications.
The outside diameter (OD) of a CMOS endoscope constructed with the OV6946 1 mm square sensor is 1.6 mm, the OV6930 1.8 mm square sensor is 2.8 mm. The diameter of a CMOS endoscope constructed with the Fujikura 29k is 1.2 mm. All sensors have standard lengths of 2 meters.
