Dr. Joseph Forkey brings over thirty years of experience in inter-disciplinary optical technology in the medical device and defense / aerospace markets in both academic and industrial settings. Joe is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the company and ensuring that appropriate resources are available and properly deployed to achieve corporate goals.
Joining POC in 2003, Joe took over as CEO in 2011 and has built and led a highly competent team of technology, business, and manufacturing experts to achieve significant company growth through increased customer engagement and targeted acquisitions. He continues to be engaged in understanding advances in optical and imaging technologies and commercial market dynamics to pursue strategic partnerships and to translate new technical opportunities into next-generation products that enable advanced customer requirements and business growth.
Wayne Coll is Precision Optics Corporation’s Chief Financial Officer, with a career spanning more than 30 years. Wayne is an experienced public company CFO, with extensive experience driving business models of medical device manufacturing companies, executing strategic M&A activities, and managing access to capital markets.
Prior to Precision Optics Corporation, Wayne served as CFO at Flowonix Medical Incorporated. Prior to Flowonix, he was CFO at Micron Solutions, a publicly traded medical devices and contract manufacturer from; Keystone Dental, a manufacturer of dental implants; Modern Dental Laboratory USA, a division of Modern Dental Group Ltd; Pluromed, a medical device company acquired by Genzyme/Sanofi; and National Dentex Corporation, a publicly traded dental laboratory where he spent over 20 years in a variety of senior finance roles including the last 5 years as CFO.
Joseph Traut was appointed Chief Operating Officer effective October 1, 2025. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading manufacturing, operations, and technology transfer initiatives within the medical device and diagnostics industries.
Most recently, Mr. Traut served as Vice President of Operations at T2 Biosystems, where he led manufacturing strategy and operational execution for innovative diagnostic platforms. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Technology Transfer at LumiraDx, overseeing the transfer of complex technologies into scalable global manufacturing environments.
From 2017 to 2021, Mr. Traut served as Vice President of Manufacturing Solutions at Ximedica, now part of Veranex. In this role, he partnered with medical technology companies to industrialize products, strengthen supply chains, and prepare organizations for commercialization and growth.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Traut held progressive leadership roles in manufacturing engineering and operations management, building expertise in process optimization, cross-functional execution, and regulated production environments.
Mr. Traut holds an MBA in Management of Technology from Bentley University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Northeastern University.
As President of Ross Optical Industries, a division of Precision Optics Corporation, Divi Mangadu brings his 25+ years of experience in Optics sourcing and manufacturing to oversee all aspects of sales & marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Divi is both a skilled mechanical engineer and an entrepreneurial leader in precision manufacturing. For more than 20 years, Divi has worked with primes and OEMs to reduce supply chain risk and cost while ensuring optimal product performance. He is committed to continually improving product design and quality assurance for customers.
Clay Schwabe serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and ensures customer needs are met at every stage of their engagement with the company.
Clay has over fifteen years of experience in medical device market access, sales, sales management, global product marketing, and commercialization. He is an emerging technologies specialist with experience in early-stage commercialization of minimally invasive surgical products and procedures. Most recently, he served as VP Business Development, Commercial Strategy, CRO, and Market Access of Veranex. From 2021 to 2023, he was VP Sales / Business Development – Early Commercial and Market access for PRIA Healthcare where he built up the business development team to include sales operations, marketing, and field operations. From 2016 to 2021 he was an Area Manager with Vertiflex, which was acquired by Boston Scientific in 2019, and from 2007 to 2016 he was the marketing manager and interventional sales consultant at Medtronic.
Clay is a graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point having served as a United States Army Captain, Platoon Leader, Battalion Staff Officer, Army World Class Athlete Program.
As the Vice President of Engineering at Precision Optics, Jon Everett leads the team responsible for Product Development from concept through production, delivering innovative, practical optical and electronic imaging system designs that take manufacturability, timeline, and budget into account.
Jon has spent his entire 30+ year career in the optics industry, holding positions in technical leadership, program management, and product development for suppliers and manufacturers of electro-optical products for military, medical, industrial, and commercial applications.
Richard Cyr’s 40 years of optics experience contributes to his outstanding ability to manage the optics laboratory at Precision Optics Corporation. He oversees all Optics Lab inquiries and provides superior technical assistance to customers.
Before joining the Precision Optics’ team in 1995, Richard’s optics expertise led him to work on history-making projects. His experiences include the Hubble Space Telescope repair mission and contributions to the Star Wars program and the National Ignition Facility – to name just a few.
As the Director of the Program Management Office at Precision Optics, William Dionne is responsible for managing the execution of product development programs from concept through production, and working with the engineering team to deliver innovative, practical vision systems while working to minimize timeline, and budget to our clients.
Will has spent his entire 15+ year career in the defense, medical and consumer product industries. During that time, Will held positions in design, technical leadership, program management, and manufacturing support for suppliers and manufacturers of electro-mechanical, electro-optical, noise suppression, and automation products for military, aerospace, medical, industrial, and commercial applications.
