Joe Forkey | President / CEO

Dr. Joseph Forkey brings inter-disciplinary optical engineering and medical research experience to Precision Optics’ customer programs. As Chief Executive Officer and President, Joe has established a leadership position in endoscopy with the engineering excellence and quality systems that customers require.

Jonathan Everett | VP of Engineering

Jon has spent his entire 25+ year career in the optics industry, holding positions in technical leadership, program management, and product development for suppliers and manufacturers of electro-optical products for military, medical, industrial, and commercial applications. As the Vice President of Engineering at Precision Optics, Jon is responsible for product development from concept through production, delivering innovative, practical optical designs that take manufacturability, timeline, and budget into account.

Jeff DiRubio | EVP Sales & Marketing

Jeff started his career at IBM, earning the award of top salesman worldwide two years in a row. Since IBM, Jeff has extensively helped small, private, and public companies establish go-to-market strategies and has ushered them through the stages of growth. At Precision Optics, Jeff serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and ensures customer needs are met at every stage of their engagement with the company. An advocate for the customer, Jeff is highly skilled in understanding customers’ questions, quickly identifying their real need, and effectively pairing them with the right expert to solve their technical problem.

Richard Cyr | General Manager, Optics Lab

Before joining the Precision Optics’ team in 1995, Richard’s optics expertise led him to work on history-making projects. His experiences include the Hubble Space Telescope repair mission and contributions to the Star Wars program  and the National Ignition Facility—just to name a few. He also served as optics apprentice under German Master Optician Werner Thiel. Richard’s 40 years of optics experience contributes to his outstanding ability to manage the optics laboratory at Precision Optics Corporation. He oversees all Optics Lab inquiries and provides superior technical assistance to customers.

Robert Ross | Director of Product Design & Development

Robert (Bob) has over 30 years of experience in optics, specializing in innovative micro optics designs. Through his career, Bob has leveraged his expertise in a variety of markets, including optical, mechanical, medical, DoD, telecommunications, and industrial products. Bob has been with Precision Optics for more than 20 years, previously serving as Senior Project Manager and Mechanical Engineering Manager. In his current role as Director of Product Design and Development, Bob oversees the design and development of new and improved opto-mechanical devices and micro opto-electronic devices. Bob works with customers to design solutions to their most complex micro-optics challenges.

Bruce Radl | Director of Technology Development

Since joining Precision Optics Corporation in 2018, Bruce has led the engineering group by example with unmatched technical skill, organization, and motivation. His extensive background in engineering has allowed him to work with top companies and in roles that include CTO, General Manager, and Platform Development Manager. As Director of Engineering at Precision Optics, Bruce provides exceptional hands-on engineering management for ultra-minute optics and endoscopic imaging systems, ensuring his team and customers meet project requirements and performance goals.

John Hargraves | Director of Operations

John has been at Precision Optics for over 30 years, serving the company in multiple roles. He has applied his diverse knowledge to every department he’s been in, from stores and facilities to his current role of Director of Operations. In this role, John is responsible for medical production, purchasing, stores, facilities, and assisting with sales. He also manages Precision Optics’ MRP system, which is a critical part of our manufacturing capability and our regulatory tracking system. John has extensive knowledge of the systems of the company and knows how to get things done on time for a customer. Once products go into production, John becomes the customer’s primary point person. He manages a full-system view over things and understands the inner workings of our most complex projects.

Terri Moore | Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs

Terri joined Precision Optics in 2016 and has been leveraging 25 years of experience to manage all of Precision Optics’ quality inspectors. Since beginning her career in 1994, Terri has developed her expertise in the Quality field through positions that include Quality Inspector and Quality Engineer. In her role at Precision Optics, Terri controls all Quality documents, calibration, in-process and final inspections, MRB, and training for all Quality requirements.
