We’re kicking off the new season of Focus on Precision with a high-energy conversation between our own Clay Schwabe and Justin Starbird! It’s an exciting time here at Precision Optics, and we wanted to share the incredible momentum we’re feeling across the entire company.
Our team is growing faster than ever; we’ve expanded from 92 to over 125 employees and recently moved our corporate headquarters to a beautiful new space in Littleton, Massachusetts. To support this scale, we’ve also brought on fresh leadership in operations and quality to ensure we keep delivering the excellence you expect from us.
One of our proudest updates is the rebranding of our Micro Optics Lab to The Lab at Precision Optics. With over 160 years of combined expertise, our specialists in The Lab are doing the “impossible” every day, designing and assembling tiny optical components that measure less than 100 microns. It’s this deep bench of experience that allows us to pioneer new applications in both medical devices and defense.
We also dove into the trends shaping our industry, from the rapid rise of single-use endoscopes to the way we’re prepping our hardware for the AI and machine learning revolution. By building flexible imaging chains that handle fluorescence and near-IR data, we’re helping our customers make sense of massive amounts of information. Plus, we’re changing how we show up in the community, shifting our strategy to meet you directly at clinical events like the upcoming AUA meeting.
We can’t wait to see what we build together next!
